Deye is a Chinese manufacturer that has become one of the largest producers of hybrid solar inverters in the world. They build for markets with weak and unstable grids, which is precisely the problem most Sri Lankan households are trying to solve.
Grid voltage here swings, and it swings hard. Inverters designed for stable European supply tend to trip offline defensively and leave you with nothing. Deye's firmware rides through those fluctuations instead of disconnecting, which in practice means fewer nuisance shutdowns and less time on the phone to us.
Most of the range is battery-ready with two independent MPPT trackers. That matters if your roof is shaded on one side or faces two directions — each string is tracked separately, so a shaded section doesn't drag down the rest of the array. It also means you can add storage later without replacing the inverter.
Deye inverters connect to a cloud monitoring app, so you can see generation, consumption and battery status live on your phone. With your permission we can see the same data, which helps us spot a problem early. Warranty claims are handled by us, rather than by you and a factory in another country.
