Hoymiles

Panel-level power for roofs that are not simple

Hoymiles is one of the largest microinverter makers in the world. Instead of one central inverter, each panel or pair of panels gets its own, which keeps the system producing when part of the roof is shaded, and lets us add panels later one at a time.

Panel-level microinverters

A microinverter on every one, two or four panels, so shade on one panel does not pull down the rest. The right choice for complex roofs and systems that may grow.

About the brand

Why we fit Hoymiles

We don't sell equipment over a counter — we design, supply and install complete systems. So rather than a product list, here is what this brand is, and why it ends up on CameraLK roofs.

Who they are

Hoymiles was founded in 2012 in Hangzhou, China, and has been listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange STAR Market since 2021. It is regarded as the second-largest microinverter manufacturer in the world, and also makes three-phase microinverters and home storage systems.

Why microinverters

With a single string inverter, a shaded or dirty panel drags down every panel on the same string. With microinverters each panel works on its own, so a tree, a water tank or a neighbouring wall costs you only the output of the panels it actually shades.

What it means on your roof

Microinverters suit roofs that face several directions, have partial shade, or are small today but may grow later. There is no high-voltage DC run across the roof, and adding panels means adding another microinverter rather than replacing the inverter.

Monitoring and support

A Hoymiles gateway sends each panel's output to the S-Miles Cloud app, so you can see exactly which panel is producing what. With your permission we can see the same data and spot a failing panel early. Warranty claims are handled by us.

We don't publish a product catalogue or sell components separately. The exact model, rating and serial number for your system is named in your written quote after a free site inspection — sized to your bill, your roof and your phase.
